Saturday 15 September 2007. Day 26. Singapore – Holiday Inn.

Head off to Orchard Road via the MRT, where we spot a starbucks and dive in to get Ieuan his coffee fix. Went to Borders and got some maps and books, then headed down the street, looking in some of the hundreds of shops and malls that line the way. Ieuan waited impatiently outside Topshop for a few mins, and then we found an internet place so went in for Ieuan's daily interweb fix.

Carried on down to the Cathay Mall (and the music shops!) where we came across a mini nature festival and dancing. Lou bought some flip flops (Havaianas) whilst Ieuan perused the Gramaphone music shop. Left there for lunch at the Dome Café, which was ok but slow service to say the least. Didn’t even get 1 drink we ordered as waiting about half an hour then decided to get the bill and leave. The bill didn’t include our drinks but by that time, we couldn’t be bothered to mention it, so had a cheap lunch! Headed home, stopping to look at a Thai restaurant in the Digiti Life Mall, which we didn’t like the look of, then walked home via the Quays. Went to Renn Thai and had delicious Larb plus great red curry and good stir fry chicken and basil. Got some takeaway Haagen Daaz and walked home along the river.
